This place is always good. They are not that attentive but the food is really good. The food is not as consistent as we would like it to be but the salsa is great and its a nice homey feel when you dine in here at this restaurant. Appreciate so much the vegan options as well, can't go wrong with

when I arrived there was only a family of 3 as customers, not very busy on a weekday. The waitress was very nice and got my drink and food order right away. The food was yummy, They place plenty of protein on the tacos, Which I loved! The margarita wasn't that great. But the food made up for it.

We randomly stumbled upon this place for lunch today for the first time and it was sooooo good. The interior decor is similar to the Mexican restaurants in old town so it was super cute. Service was really attentive and we got the complimentary chips and salsa for an appetizer. Their salsa is delicious and they also have a homemade green hot sauce and habanero mango sauce. Both were 10/10. For our entrees we got two tempura battered fish tacos and the surf and turf burrito. Both were super tasty. We ll definately be back.

This is the perfect place for people with dietary restrictions. Everything can be made vegan, but also so many options with meat. My carne asada tacos were tasty and I got a vegan horchata! The art on the walls is great and folks working there were very nice.

Ranchos Cocina has a very homey vibe interior and I really liked the overall feel inside of the restaurant. One of the things that makes them so unique is that so much of their menu can be made vegan/vegetarian. So this is a great place to bring both meat-eaters and non-meat eaters. The menu is quite extensive so I had to take more time than usual to order. Service throughout the night was impeccable and even one of the workers gave us some additional complimentary chips with our food which was very much appreciated. We started with the Queso Meso dip which was really delicious! Topped with some chorizo, this was a great starter. My only complaint is that it came only 5-6 tortilla chips. By the time we ate all the chips, there was still a decent amount of dip left. I orderd the Trio Enchiladas and each of them were very delicious! My favorite was the one with the red guajillo sauce on it. That sauce was sooo good! The presentation was beautiful as well. My gf also got the San Diego Sunrise Breakfast Burrito and subsituted it with vegan carne asada. I had a couple of bites and I thought that it was alright. The flavors were good but not something I would return back for vs. the enchiladas which were amazing.

What a pleasant surprise this place was! If you walk by, you may miss it! But if you enter, you will find a quaint hole in the wall with a festive, authentic Mexican vibe. Chips and salsa come in a very small dish but they are all homemade. So no getting full on these! The fajitas are very tasty and the breakfast burrito was a huge hit! There are plenty of vegan options as well. Don't skip the margarita! Street parking available.

Walked in on a random Monday. Good food good vibes. Great service! We wanted to switch tables after we ordered and they accommodated so well. Thanks!

Perhaps the best me I've ever had. They make vegan seem doable. I'll go back for sure.

With the warm greeting at entrance, attentive service, refreshing drinks, priming chips & salsa, and delicious food, we were pleasantly surprised with our experience here. We ordered the Enchiladas & Tamales combination and the Salmon Burrito. Both dishes were perfect in presentation, perfectly cooked, and wonderfully seasoned (not too much and not too little).
